About a6 fridge magnets
A6 sits between DL and A5, and it is the size people reach for when a DL is too narrow for the artwork but an A5 feels oversized. Postcard proportions suit a single strong image with a band of information beneath it — a conversion chart, a set of emergency numbers, a seasonal calendar with the months stacked in three rows rather than one.
Because the panel is close to square, A6 is more forgiving of artwork designed for other media. A social tile, a press advertisement or a photograph shot in portrait can usually be adapted to A6 without the heavy cropping a DL panel forces.
