Wholesale Magnets (wholesale-magnets.com.au) is operated by Wholesale Magnets Pty Ltd (ABN 33 118 745 994), an Australian business trading since 1994. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who we share it with, and how you can access or correct it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

  • When you ask for a price or a quote: your name, business name, mobile, email, and the product and quantity you're interested in.
  • When you order: your contact and delivery details, your order, and any logos, photos or artwork files you send us.
  • When you pay: card payments are processed through our bank's secure payment portal — we never store your card details.
  • When you contact us: what you tell us by phone, email or SMS.
  • When you browse the site: standard technical information (pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location) through Google Analytics and the Meta pixel (see below).

You don't have to give us your details, but without them we can't price, design or deliver your order.

How we use it

  • To send the price you asked for, prepare your artwork and proof, make and deliver your order, invoice you and look after you afterwards.
  • To follow up your enquiry, and occasionally email you about our products. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop at any time. We use SMS only for the price you request and follow-up about that enquiry — never for general marketing.
  • To measure and improve our advertising and website (see below).

We don't sell your personal information.

Advertising on Facebook and Instagram

Our site uses the Meta pixel, a small piece of code from Meta Platforms (Facebook and Instagram). It tells Meta which pages are visited and when a price request is completed, so we can measure our ads and show them to people who have visited our site.

We may also give Meta a list of our business customers' email addresses and phone numbers in hashed form — scrambled with a one-way code before it leaves our systems, so Meta receives no readable details. Meta uses it only to find people with accounts that match, so that we can show our ads to similar businesses or leave existing customers out, and then discards the details it could not match. Meta handles this information under its own privacy policy. You can control the ads you see at facebook.com/adpreferences, or ask us to leave you out of these lists.

Cookies and browser storage

The site uses Google Analytics and Meta pixel cookies to understand how it is used and to measure our advertising. You can clear or block these in your browser settings; the site still works without them.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we need to run the business, each using your information only to provide their service to us:

  • Google — Analytics, and Google Drive, where artwork files are stored
  • Meta — advertising and measurement on Facebook and Instagram
  • Cloudflare — website hosting and security
  • Email and SMS delivery services — to send your price, proofs and order updates
  • Couriers — your delivery name, address and phone number
  • Our designers and production team

Some of these providers store data overseas, mainly in the United States. We choose providers with appropriate security and privacy commitments.

Keeping it safe

Your information is kept on secured, access-controlled systems in Australia and with the providers above. We keep it while you're a customer or prospect, and for as long as needed for our records and legal obligations (for example tax records), then delete or de-identify it.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you:
